A tumble dryer extracts moisture from textiles by circulating heated air through a rotating drum. The drum turns continuously, lifting and dropping the load so every item is exposed to the warm airflow. Heating elements raise the air temperature, increasing its capacity to hold water vapour. As the air passes through the drum, it absorbs moisture from the fabrics, then exits through a lint filter before being reheated and recirculated. This closed-loop system reduces energy waste and shortens drying cycles by keeping the air at the optimal temperature and humidity level for evaporation.

The operator loads up to 10 kg of damp laundry through the industrial aluminium door, closes it, and selects a programme using the EM electronic control panel. The panel allows independent adjustment of drying time and temperature to suit different fabric types and moisture levels. Once the cycle starts, the drum rotates while the heating elements activate, warming the air inside. An axial airflow system directs the heated air evenly across the drum, ensuring consistent drying without hot spots. At the end of the set time, a Cool Down function circulates unheated air to lower the temperature of the load before the door can be opened.

The drum is made of galvanised steel for corrosion resistance and long service life. The outer panels are coated steel in white, providing a durable and cost-effective finish for professional use. A large pull-out lint filter captures fibres and debris, allowing quick removal and easy daily maintenance. The dryer weighs 93 kg and measures 690 mm wide, 775 mm deep and 1056 mm high, with a drum diameter of 480 mm. It operates on a 230 V single-phase or three-phase supply, switchable to 400 V three-phase, at 50–60 Hz.

A 4.92 kW power rating indicates the load the dryer places on the electrical circuit. The 10 kg capacity determines the volume of laundry processed in a single cycle, while the 200 L drum volume provides space for efficient tumbling. The 230 V voltage requirement matches standard commercial circuits, and the switchable configuration allows installation in premises with different electrical supplies. The 93 kg weight requires a sturdy floor and may need two people or a trolley for movement.

Cleaning involves removing and emptying the pull-out lint filter after each cycle to maintain airflow and prevent fire hazards. The galvanised steel drum and coated panels can be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove dust and lint accumulation. The axial airflow system has no user-serviceable parts and requires no additional maintenance.

This model is available with electric or gas heating to suit site requirements. It can be installed above Danube WPR series washing machines or another DPR dryer to optimise floor space in professional and self-service laundries.
