Danube DPR-10 E EM 10 kg Electric Tumble Dryer

A tumble dryer removes moisture from laundry by circulating heated air through a rotating drum. The drum turns continuously, lifting and dropping the load so every item is exposed to the warm airflow. Heated elements raise the temperature of the incoming air, increasing its capacity to hold water vapour. As the air passes through the drum, it absorbs moisture from the textiles, then exits through a lint filter that traps fibres and particles. The filtered air is either vented outside or, in some systems, recirculated after reheating. This process reduces drying time compared to air drying and prevents uneven results that can occur when fabrics are left to dry statically.

The operator loads the drum through the front door, selecting a programme on the EM electronic control panel. The panel allows adjustment of drying time and temperature to suit different fabric types, from delicate synthetics to heavy cotton. Once the cycle starts, the drum rotates while the heating elements warm the air, and the axial airflow system distributes the heat evenly across the load. A Cool Down function at the end of the cycle gradually lowers the temperature to prevent heat shock when the door is opened. The lint filter, designed as a pull-out drawer, is removed and cleaned after each use to maintain airflow and efficiency.

The cabinet is constructed from Skinplate galvanised steel panels, finished in grey for resistance to corrosion, scratches and daily wear. The door is made from industrial-grade aluminium, providing durability under frequent use. The unit measures 690 mm wide, 775 mm deep and 1056 mm high, with a drum diameter of 480 mm, allowing it to be stacked above compatible Danube washing machines to save floor space in professional laundry rooms.

The EM electronic control panel provides the interface for selecting and adjusting drying parameters. The operator sets the desired temperature and cycle duration, with the control system maintaining the selected values throughout the process. The panel also displays the remaining time and signals when the cycle is complete.

A 10 kg capacity allows the dryer to handle typical professional laundry loads, such as hotel bedding or restaurant table linens, in a single cycle. The 7.17 kW power rating reflects the electrical load required to heat the air and drive the drum motor, necessitating a three-phase 400 V or 230 V supply, with a single-phase 230 V option available via a switch. The 93 kg weight indicates the unit must be moved with a trolley or forklift, and positioned on a stable, level floor to prevent vibration during operation.

The pull-out lint filter requires daily cleaning to prevent blockages that reduce airflow and extend drying times. The galvanised steel panels and aluminium door can be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove dust and lint. The drum should be inspected periodically for residue or foreign objects that could damage fabrics.
