Florapharm's Cranberry Sea Buckthorn fruit tea combines dried apple, hibiscus, carrot, orange peel, cranberries, sea buckthorn berries, raspberries, and rose components in a loose-leaf blend. Hot water draws out the flavour, colour, and aroma from the botanicals while leaving the leaves intact.
To make the tea, place the loose leaves in a warmed teapot or infuser. Add freshly boiled water at 100 °C and let the leaves steep for 8 to 10 minutes. This extended steeping time allows the larger fruit pieces and denser botanicals to fully infuse, resulting in a richer taste and deeper colour. Once ready, strain the liquid into cups, discarding the used leaves.
The blend features whole and cut botanicals rather than fine powder, ensuring the ingredients remain visible and intact. This design also promotes better water circulation during brewing. The packaging is a resealable pouch that shields the leaves from air and moisture.
A standard kettle will reach the required 100 °C temperature. The 8-10 minute infusion time is slightly longer than typical black teas, as the larger fruit and botanical pieces need more time to soften and release their flavours. The 300 g pack provides multiple servings, depending on preferred strength.
After use, simply rinse the teapot or infuser to remove any trapped leaves or fruit particles. Always reseal the pouch tightly to preserve freshness.
