This square sun umbrella provides shade for outdoor areas such as patios, terraces or event spaces. The canopy blocks sunlight while permitting airflow beneath, helping to maintain a cooler environment than a solid roof would. The open sides allow easy movement around the perimeter, and the height accommodates standing guests and catering equipment without obstruction.

The rigid frame, supported by a single central pole, features a crank mechanism at the base for raising and lowering the ribs. Once extended, the ribs lock into position to maintain the canopy's shape without continuous tension on the crank. The vertical pole ensures the umbrella casts shade directly below, avoiding interference with nearby tables or equipment.

For assembly, the pole is placed on a stable surface, and ballast is added to the base. The crank is turned until the ribs rise and the fabric becomes taut, locking automatically when fully open. To close, the lock is released, and the crank is turned in reverse until the ribs fold neatly against the pole. A tie secures the canopy when not in use.

The frame is powder-coated aluminium in antracite, while the canopy is made of beige polyester fabric. The pole and ribs are aluminium, and the crank mechanism includes a steel component with a plastic handle. A separate ballast is required for stability in wind, as the base is not supplied.

The canopy measures 3000 mm square, offering ample shaded space. The unit weighs 20 kg, allowing two people to carry and position it before adding ballast. The closed umbrella occupies the same footprint as when open.

Maintenance involves wiping the canopy with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The frame should be cleaned after exposure to rain or salt air to prevent corrosion. The crank mechanism should be checked periodically and lubricated if needed for smooth operation.
