Stackable sunbed aluminium frame, seat and back in textilene
A professional sunbed provides controlled ultraviolet exposure to achieve even tanning across the body. Inside the canopy, fluorescent or LED lamps emit UVA and UVB rays that penetrate the skin, stimulating melanin production. The intensity and spectral balance of the lamps determine the depth and speed of the tan, while the reflective interior surface directs light uniformly, preventing patchy results. This method allows consistent sessions without relying on outdoor sunlight, making it suitable for year-round use in salons and spas.
The operator positions the client on the padded surface, ensuring full contact with the canopy. Once the canopy is closed, the lamps activate, exposing the skin to the programmed UV output. A timer controls the session duration, automatically switching off the lamps when the set time elapses. The client remains stationary throughout, allowing the light to reach all areas evenly. After the session, the canopy opens, and the client exits the unit.
The LETTINO GS926 is constructed with a lightweight frame, keeping the total weight at 10 kg for easy relocation within the salon. Its dimensions of 1950 mm in length, 590 mm in width and 330 mm in height allow it to fit in treatment rooms where space is limited. The compact footprint does not compromise the tanning surface, accommodating clients of varying heights comfortably.
Cleaning involves wiping down the padded surface and canopy interior with disinfectant after each use to maintain hygiene standards. The reflective panels require occasional dusting to preserve their efficiency, while the lamps should be checked periodically for consistent output and replaced when their UV emission declines.
The GS926 is categorised under professional tanning equipment in the GRATTONI salon range.
