Rolling rack
A boiling unit heats water or other liquids by passing electric current through radiant elements beneath ceramic glass plates. The plates glow red, transferring heat directly to the base of pots and pans without flame or gas. This method gives instant response when the operator adjusts the seven-position switch, allowing rapid changes from simmer to rolling boil and back. Radiant heat spreads evenly across the plate, eliminating cold spots and reducing the risk of scorching or uneven cooking. Warning lights show residual heat after the plates are switched off, preventing accidental burns and signalling when the surface is safe to touch or clean.
The operator places a pot on one of the two ceramic glass plates, selects the desired heat level with the seven-position switch, and starts cooking. A temperature limiter inside each plate prevents overheating, cutting power if the plate exceeds a safe threshold. When the pot is removed, the residual-heat light stays on until the plate cools. Rolling racks at the rear of the unit lock pots in place, stopping them from sliding during vigorous boiling or stirring.
The unit is fabricated from 18/10 chromium-nickel stainless steel, grade AISI 304, with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The worktop is 2 mm thick, giving a rigid surface that resists dents and warping under heavy pots. Chromed details protect edges and corners from wear. Cast iron hot plates, either square or round, are sealed with steel borders to keep liquids from seeping beneath the ceramic glass. The 400 V three-phase supply draws 5.2 kW, distributing the load across three live conductors to reduce current on each wire and prevent overheating in the kitchen's electrical circuit.
A footprint of 400 by 600 mm fits on most worktops or counter modules, leaving space for adjacent appliances or prep areas. The 50 mm height keeps the cooking surface at a comfortable working level without raising it above standard pot heights. At 19 kg, the unit is light enough to be lifted by two people for installation or repositioning, yet heavy enough to stay stable when large pots are moved on and off the plates.
Cleaning is done with a damp cloth and mild detergent after the plates have cooled and the residual-heat lights have gone out. The ceramic glass surface wipes clean without scrubbing, and the stainless steel worktop resists stains and fingerprints. The seven-position switch and temperature limiter require no maintenance beyond occasional dusting. No versions or variants of this model are listed; the unit is supplied as a single configuration.
The product is catalogued under professional electric boiling hobs for commercial kitchens.
