CFM6-610ETX is a professional electric range with 6 cooking zones and an electric oven, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens.
Solid stainless steel oven door.
An electric stove built for the confined, moving environment of a ship's galley combines rapid heating with steady control. The hob uses cast iron hot plates that absorb and spread heat evenly across their surface, so pans of different sizes reach the same temperature at the same setting. Below, the oven circulates hot air around a sealed cavity, letting the operator roast, bake or hold food without the fluctuations that rolling decks can cause. Both elements are powered by a three-phase 400 V supply, which delivers the 13.55 kW load without overloading a single circuit in the vessel's electrical system.
The sequence begins by adjusting the six feet until the stove sits level on the deck. The operator then selects one of seven heat levels for each hot plate using the waterproof knobs on the front panel. Indicator lights confirm power is reaching the plates and the oven. Once the plates are hot, pans are placed directly on the cast iron; the steel rims prevent spills from running onto the worktop. For oven work, the temperature is set between 50 °C and 300 °C, and the sliding shelf is pulled out to load or unload trays without reaching into the cavity. A temperature limiter cuts power if the oven overheats, protecting both the food and the appliance.
The entire body is fabricated from 18/10 chromium-nickel stainless steel, finished with a Scotch-Brite satin polish that resists fingerprints and corrosion in the salty atmosphere. Rounded edges and chrome-plated details reduce snagging, while a rear splash guard keeps water and grease off the bulkhead. The control panel can be removed for access to wiring and components, and the oven grid measures 53 × 32.5 cm, matching standard marine catering trays.
Each seven-position switch governs a single hot plate, allowing independent control of six cooking zones. The oven thermostat sets the cavity temperature, and the indicator lights show when either the hob or the oven is drawing power. The 13.55 kW rating indicates the total load on the ship's electrical system, while the 400 V three-phase connection ensures the stove can be wired directly to the vessel's main supply without additional transformers. The 96 kg weight requires two people to move the unit, and the 1000 × 600 × 900 mm footprint fits into the standard marine galley module.
Cleaning follows the materials: the stainless steel body and splash guard are wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the cast iron hot plates are scraped and seasoned after each use to prevent rust. The control panel is removed only when necessary, and the oven grid is lifted out for thorough cleaning. The adjustable feet are checked periodically to keep the stove level as the ship moves.
The CFM6-610ETX is a single model; no variants are listed. It is categorised under marine-grade catering equipment in the LOTUS professional range.
