Professional electric cooker with 6 cast iron hotplates and a static electric oven, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction, precise temperature control and ergonomic design ensure high performance and convenient daily operation.
A professional electric stove built for continuous service in commercial kitchens, the LOTUS CFQ6-912ETX combines six cast-iron hob zones with a traditional electric deck oven in a single 1200 mm-wide unit. The hob heats by electric resistance elements embedded beneath each cast-iron plate; the oven uses concealed elements to raise the air temperature inside the chamber. Both systems rely on radiant heat transfer: the hob conducts heat directly into pots and pans, while the oven surrounds food with steady, even warmth for roasting, baking and finishing. The method eliminates open flames and gives precise control over each cooking surface without cross-contamination of flavours or heat loss to the room.
To operate the stove, the chef first selects the desired hob zone using the seven-position power regulators on the front panel. Each regulator sets the wattage delivered to one cast-iron plate, allowing independent control from simmer to full boil. The oven temperature is set separately with a rotary dial that spans 50 to 300 °C, covering everything from gentle proofing to high-heat roasting. Once the settings are chosen, the unit draws 33.2 kW from a 400 V three-phase supply, so it must be hard-wired by a qualified electrician onto a dedicated circuit capable of handling the load. The hob zones heat within minutes, while the oven chamber takes slightly longer to reach the target temperature, after which the chef loads trays or tins onto the single wire grid supplied. Pot supports on the hob prevent pans from sliding, and the oven door seals tightly to retain heat during cooking.
The entire construction is fabricated from 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The worktop is 2 mm thick with rounded edges, finished in a Scotch-Brite satin that reduces glare and hides minor scratches. Chrome-plated trim and a rear splash guard protect the walls behind the unit, while IPX5-rated waterproof control knobs allow safe wipe-down with a damp cloth. Adjustable feet at each corner level the stove on uneven floors, and the front control panel lifts off for access to internal wiring and components during maintenance.
The 33.2 kW power rating indicates the maximum electrical load the stove places on the supply; in practice, this means it requires a three-phase 400 V circuit with sufficient amperage to support continuous operation at full capacity. The 218 kg weight reflects the heavy-gauge steel and cast-iron components, so the unit must be positioned on a solid floor capable of bearing the load without vibration. The 1200 × 900 mm footprint occupies a standard 90 cm worktop width, leaving room for adjacent preparation surfaces or under-counter refrigeration. Inside the oven, the 1070 × 730 × 340 mm chamber accommodates one full-size GN2/1 tray (1050 × 710 mm) on the supplied wire grid, making it suitable for batch roasting, baking or holding.
Cleaning is straightforward: the hob surfaces and oven interior can be wiped with a damp cloth once cooled, while the control panel and splash guard are designed to withstand regular sanitising sprays. The cast-iron hob zones should be dried after cleaning to prevent surface rust, and the oven door seal should be checked periodically for food debris. The removable front panel allows access to internal wiring and elements for deeper maintenance, though this should only be performed by a qualified technician.
The stove is supplied with one end panel (TPA-9) for finishing the side of the unit when installed as a standalone piece. No additional variants or configurations are listed for this model.
Designed for professional catering environments, the LOTUS CFQ6-912ETX is categorised under heavy-duty electric stoves with integrated ovens in the manufacturer's commercial cooking equipment range.
