LOTUS Electric Ceramic Cooktop 90 with Four Heating Zones

A ceramic cooktop heats by passing electric current through resistive elements sealed beneath a smooth glass surface. The elements glow red, radiating heat upwards to the base of pots and pans. Because the glass itself does not conduct heat sideways, each zone stays sharply defined, allowing precise control of temperature across the worktop without wasted energy at the edges.

The operator places cookware on any of the four zones, selects the desired power level with the rotary switch, and starts the zone. A residual-heat indicator lights when the zone is still hot after the switch is turned off, warning staff until the surface cools. The built-in temperature limiter prevents overheating, cutting power if the zone exceeds a safe threshold.

The cooktop is built as a single unit with a 2 mm thick work surface of AISI 304 stainless steel, satin-finished with Scotch-Brite. Edges are rounded and chrome-plated trim protects against splashes. The control knobs are IPX5 water-resistant, allowing safe wipe-down. Four adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors and a locking system secures the feet once set.

A 12.8 kW total power rating requires a dedicated 400 V three-phase circuit, typical of professional kitchens but not domestic installations. The 800 mm width and 900 mm depth fit a standard 90 cm worktop cut-out, while the 280 mm height keeps the surface at ergonomic working level. The 70 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two-person lift before final positioning.

Cleaning is done with a damp cloth and mild detergent; abrasives are avoided to protect the satin finish. The residual-heat indicators must be allowed to cool before deep cleaning. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically for tightness to prevent movement during use.
