Electric range with a ceramic cooking surface (750 × 570 mm) and fixing system.
This ceramic cooktop features a smooth glass-ceramic surface heated by electric elements under each cooking zone. Heat radiates upward, warming pan bases quickly and evenly. The flat surface prevents spills from running into burners, making it simple to clean after use. Residual heat indicators alert users to zones that remain hot, minimising burn risks once cooking ends.
Pans are placed on the marked zones, with power levels adjusted via IPX5 water-resistant knobs. A switch and temperature limiter prevent overheating, while adjustable feet and a fixing system ensure stability on uneven surfaces. The indicators stay illuminated until zones cool to a safe temperature.
The unit is built from CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The worktop is 2 mm thick, featuring rounded edges, chrome-plated components, and a rear splashback. The glass-ceramic panel resists thermal shock and supports heavy loads.
Control knobs regulate power output for each zone. Residual heat indicators, embedded in the panel, light up when a zone is too hot to touch.
With a 10 kW power rating, the cooktop requires a three-phase 400 V supply, common in professional kitchens. Its 800 by 705 mm footprint suits standard worktop depths, and the 280 mm height allows under-counter clearance. Weighing 62 kg, it should be moved using a trolley or with two people.
Cleaning involves wiping the cooled glass-ceramic surface with a non-abrasive cleaner. The stainless steel body and splashback can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried to avoid water marks. The IPX5-rated knobs can be rinsed under a tap without harm.
