Professional electric range with 2 glass ceramic cooking zones and a neutral cabinet, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures even heat distribution, long service life and easy daily cleaning.
An electric ceramic range heats a smooth glass-ceramic surface with radiant elements beneath it. The elements glow when energised, transferring heat directly to pots and pans without open flames or exposed coils. This method spreads heat evenly across the entire cooking area, eliminating cold spots and allowing precise temperature control for frying, boiling, simmering and sautéing. The ceramic surface remains cooler around the heated zones, reducing the risk of accidental burns once the elements are switched off.
To use the range, the operator places a pot or pan on the marked zone, selects the desired power level with the control knobs, and starts the element. Each zone has a residual heat indicator that remains lit until the surface is safe to touch. The integrated trivet provides a stable base for larger vessels, preventing tipping during vigorous stirring or lifting. When cooking is complete, the operator turns the knobs to zero and allows the surface to cool before cleaning.
The range is constructed from 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The worktop is 2 mm thick, with rounded edges and chrome-plated details for durability and ease of cleaning. Control knobs are water-resistant to IPX5 standard, protecting the internal wiring from splashes and steam. The front control panel can be removed for access to all internal components, simplifying maintenance and repairs. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, and the absence of doors keeps the workspace open and accessible.
A power rating of 6.4 kW indicates the load the range places on a three-phase 400 V supply, suitable for professional kitchens with dedicated circuits. The 400 mm depth and 900 mm width fit a standard 90 cm worktop slot, while the 900 mm height matches adjacent worktops and cabinets. At 48 kg, the range is light enough to be moved by two people but requires care when positioning to avoid damaging the ceramic surface.
Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic surface with a damp cloth once it has cooled, using non-abrasive cleaners to avoid scratching. The stainless steel body can be cleaned with standard kitchen degreasers, and the control panel should be kept dry to maintain water resistance. The removable front panel allows for thorough cleaning of internal components and inspection of wiring.
The neutral cabinet beneath the range provides additional storage space without doors, keeping utensils and pans within reach while maintaining an open workflow. The range is categorised as a 90 cm electric ceramic model with integrated storage, designed for professional catering environments.
