A drop-in electric oven built to integrate seamlessly into professional worktops, delivering consistent heat for a range of cooking tasks. The oven uses an internal heating element to generate and circulate hot air, creating an even temperature throughout the cavity. This method ensures uniform cooking, whether baking, roasting or reheating, without cold spots that can disrupt service.

To operate, the chef loads gastronorm trays or the supplied wire grid onto the runners inside the cavity. The temperature is set using the mechanical dial, selecting a value between 50 and 260 °C to match the dish. Once the oven reaches the chosen temperature, the element cycles on and off to maintain it, while the hot air moves naturally around the food. The door, made of the same stainless steel as the rest of the unit, seals the cavity to retain heat and prevent energy loss during cooking.

The oven is constructed entirely from 18/10 chromium-nickel stainless steel, including the exterior, interior and door. Chrome-plated trim provides additional corrosion resistance and a clean finish. The 800 mm width and 48.6 mm height allow it to fit into standard worktop cut-outs, while the 40 kg weight ensures stability once installed. A 5.0 kW power draw requires a 400 V three-phase supply, the standard for professional kitchen circuits, and the unit is designed to run continuously during service.

The temperature range of 50 to 260 °C covers low-temperature holding, proofing, baking and high-heat roasting, making the oven suitable for a variety of dishes without needing separate appliances. The included grid measures 53 x 32.5 cm, matching the GN2/1 gastronorm standard, so trays and containers from other professional equipment slot directly into the runners. Mechanical controls keep operation straightforward, with no digital display to complicate settings during busy service.

Cleaning follows from the materials: stainless steel surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the chrome trim resists staining. The grid and runners can be removed for deeper cleaning, and the door seals can be checked and cleaned to maintain heat retention. The oven is designed for drop-in installation, so no additional housing or cabinetry is required beyond the worktop cut-out.

The model is part of the LOTUS MARINE range, which is categorised under built-in professional cooking equipment.
