LOTUS Electric Fry Top Grill with Touch Screen Control

An electric fry top grill heats a smooth, flat metal plate directly with electric elements beneath. The even surface conducts heat across the entire cooking area, allowing food to sear, brown or cook without the need for oil or fat. The method gives consistent results across the plate, with no hot spots, and the temperature can be adjusted precisely to suit different foods and techniques.

The operator lowers the food onto the hot plate, where it cooks by direct contact. A rotating stainless steel grill rack can be positioned above the plate for items that benefit from radiant heat or for finishing. The touch screen control panel sets the power level, cooking time and programmes, while a drip tray beneath collects excess liquid. A shelf at the rear holds utensils or ingredients within reach, and adjustable legs ensure the unit sits level on the worktop.

The grill is built from 18/10 chromium-nickel stainless steel, a grade chosen for its resistance to corrosion and staining in a busy kitchen. The 2 mm thick cooking surface has rounded edges for safety and ease of cleaning, and the satin finish reduces glare under kitchen lighting. Chrome-plated details and a high rear splash guard protect the surrounding area from grease and steam.

A 4.3-inch touch screen provides the main interface, with ten power levels to control the intensity of the heat. Two programmable timers allow the operator to set cooking durations for different items, and an Energy Saving function reduces power consumption when the grill is not in active use. WiFi and cloud connectivity enable remote monitoring, diagnostics and control, so the appliance can be managed from a tablet or smartphone.

The 400 V three-phase electrical supply is standard for professional catering equipment, allowing the 4.08 kW load to be distributed evenly across the circuit. The 60 kg weight requires two people to move the unit safely, and the 400 mm depth, 705 mm width and 900 mm height fit within a standard worktop footprint. The 27 cm by 43 cm cooking surface is sized for single or multiple items, and the optional temperature probe provides internal readings for precise results.

Cleaning involves wiping the cooking surface with a scraper or cloth while still warm, then washing the drip tray and grill rack. The stainless steel construction resists staining and corrosion, but regular cleaning prevents build-up of grease and food residue. The satin finish helps hide minor scratches, and the rounded edges make the surface easier to maintain.
