Professional electric fry top with a smooth/ribbed cooking surface, designed for grilling meat, fish, vegetables and other foods. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures long service life, even heat distribution and easy daily cleaning.
An electric fry top heats a solid metal plate from below with electric elements. The plate stores and spreads the heat evenly, so every part of the surface reaches the same temperature. This method gives fast, consistent cooking without open flames or hot spots, letting chefs sear, grill or fry across the whole area at once.
The operator switches the unit on, sets the thermostat between 50 °C and 300 °C, and waits for the plate to reach the chosen temperature. Food is placed directly on the smooth surface, turned with a spatula, and removed when done. A removable grease tray under the front edge collects drips during cooking, so the worktop stays cleaner and the kitchen extract works more efficiently.
The cooking plate is 2.5 mm thick 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The chassis is stainless steel, and the control knobs are water-resistant to IPX5. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, and a locking system keeps it securely in place once positioned.
A 7.4 kW power rating means the fry top draws a steady load on a 400 V three-phase circuit, the standard supply for professional catering equipment. The 600 mm depth and 705 mm width fit a standard worktop run, while the 280 mm height leaves room for a shelf or cupboard below. The 67 kg weight requires two people to move the unit safely and a solid floor that can support the load.
The temperature range from 50 °C to 300 °C covers low-temperature holding, gentle frying, searing and high-heat grilling. A dual thermostat system provides both working control and overheat protection, so the unit shuts off if the temperature rises beyond the set point.
Daily cleaning involves removing the grease tray, wiping the plate with a scraper and cloth, and rinsing the tray. The satin finish resists scratches and makes burnt-on residue easier to lift. The water-resistant controls can be wiped down without risk of electrical damage, and the adjustable legs can be cleaned underneath once the unit is lifted clear.
The FTLRT-76ET is a smooth-plate version; a ribbed-plate variant is also available under the same model series.
