Stainless steel Fryer.

A professional electric fryer heats a measured volume of oil to a consistent temperature, allowing food to be submerged in a wire basket for even, rapid cooking. The oil is heated by an electric element beneath the tank, transferring heat directly into the oil. A thermostat maintains the set temperature, while a second safety thermostat cuts power if the oil overheats, preventing fire and oil breakdown. The fryer's capacity and power determine how much food can be cooked at once and how quickly the oil returns to temperature between batches, ensuring efficient service during peak demand.
The operator loads the wire basket with food, lowers it into the preheated oil, and sets the timer. The fryer's visual and acoustic alarm activates if the safety thermostat intervenes, alerting staff to check the unit. Once cooking is complete, the basket is lifted, drained, and the food removed. The fryer's rotating heating element allows the tank to be emptied and cleaned without tools, while the built-in filter and basket support keep oil free of debris between uses.
Constructed from 18/10 CrNi AISI 304 grade stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin polish finish, the fryer includes a 2 mm thick worktop and chromed details for durability and hygiene. The single 10 litre tank is paired with a basket and lid, and the unit is secured with a fixing system for stability during operation.
The 7.15 kW power rating requires a 400 V three-phase electrical supply, typical for high-demand kitchen equipment, ensuring rapid heat recovery between batches. The 20 kg weight allows the fryer to be moved with a trolley or by two staff, while its 400 x 600 x 390 mm footprint fits standard worktop layouts. The 10 litre oil capacity supports a throughput of 10 kg of food per hour, balancing volume and efficiency for medium-scale frying tasks.
Cleaning involves rotating the heating element to drain the tank, removing the filter basket for washing, and wiping down the stainless steel surfaces. The satin finish resists fingerprints and scratches, while the chromed details protect high-wear areas. The fryer is available in single or double tank configurations, with the same safety and maintenance features across both models.
This fryer is positioned in the LOTUS professional catering range for medium-capacity frying applications.
