Professional electric griddle with a 50/50 smooth and ribbed cooking surface and an open neutral cabinet, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures even heating, long service life and easy daily cleaning.
A smooth electric fry-top griddle heats a solid steel plate from beneath, spreading even heat across the entire cooking surface without hot spots. The plate's thermal mass holds the temperature steady, letting chefs sear, grill or fry in a continuous service without waiting for recovery. Two independent thermostats divide the 600 mm plate into two 300 mm zones, so one side can hold at a lower temperature while the other runs at full heat for batch cooking or finishing different items at once.
The operator sets each zone's temperature with a water-resistant knob, then loads food directly onto the plate. A rear splashback catches grease and steam, directing them into removable stainless-steel trays beneath the front edge. Once the trays are full, they slide out for emptying and cleaning without interrupting service. The open base leaves the shelf below free for storing pans, utensils or ingredients, keeping everything within reach during a busy service.
The griddle's body is built from 2 mm CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish, rounded edges and chrome-plated components for durability and easy cleaning. The cooking plate itself is either FE430B carbon steel or FE510C chrome-plated steel, chosen for rapid heat-up and long service life. A front control panel lifts away to expose all serviceable parts, simplifying maintenance and repairs.
Each control knob is rated IPX5, protecting it against low-pressure water jets from any direction, so the griddle can be hosed down at the end of service. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, and the 78 kg weight keeps it stable during heavy use without needing to bolt it down.
The 7.4 kW power rating requires a three-phase 400/440 V supply, the standard circuit in professional kitchens for high-demand appliances. The 600 × 705 mm footprint fits a standard worktop run, while the 900 mm height matches most under-counter storage and allows staff to work comfortably without stooping. The 50–300 °C temperature range covers everything from gentle warming to high-heat searing, making the griddle suitable for breakfast service, grilled sandwiches, burgers, steaks and vegetables.
Grease collection trays are removable and dishwasher-safe, reducing manual scrubbing. The stainless-steel splashback and rounded edges prevent grease and food debris from collecting in corners, so wiping down with a damp cloth is usually enough to restore a clean surface. The open base and shelf are wiped with the same cloth, and the chrome-plated components resist fingerprints and smudges.
The FTLR-76ETX is supplied without doors, leaving the neutral cabinet open for ventilation and easy access to the storage shelf.
