Stainless steel grill.
An electric grill heats food by direct contact with a hot surface, eliminating the need for open flames or hot air circulation. The heating element beneath the cooking plate warms the metal, which then transfers heat straight to the food placed on it. This method gives even browning and clear grill marks, while the reflective system behind the element directs radiant heat back towards the food, speeding up cooking and reducing energy waste.
To use the LOTUS CWKT-94ET, fill the water compartment to catch drips, then switch on the grill and set the temperature with the waterproof knobs. Place food directly on the stainless steel plate; the rotable element ensures consistent heat across the surface. As food cooks, juices and fat collect in the removable liquid containers below. Once cooking is complete, switch off the grill and allow it to cool before removing the containers for emptying.
The grill is built from CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 grade stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The 1 mm thick worktop has rounded edges, chromed details and a rear splashback. Waterproof IPX5-rated knobs control the heating element, and adjustable feet allow the unit to sit level on uneven floors.
A 5.415 kW power rating means the grill draws a significant load, requiring a dedicated 400 V three-phase circuit in a professional kitchen. The 400x900x280 mm footprint fits on most worktops, while the 400 V supply allows rapid heat-up and sustained high temperatures for continuous service.
Cleaning involves removing the front control panel to access serviceable parts. The water compartment and liquid containers are taken out, washed and dried before reassembly. The stainless steel plate and splashback wipe clean with a damp cloth, while the reflective system behind the element stays in place and requires only occasional dusting.
The CWKT-94ET is a contact model designed for direct cooking above the heating element, with no variants or additional configurations listed.
