| NOTES | 2 zones - glass 25x47 |
Electric hob with a 250 × 470 mm glass ceramic cooking surface, stainless steel construction and a locking system.
An electric hob that transfers heat through a smooth glass ceramic surface, eliminating open flames while delivering rapid, even heating across two cooking zones. The ceramic panel conducts heat from concealed elements beneath; when the element is switched on, the glass above it glows red and radiates heat upward into the base of the pan. Because the surface stays flat, spills do not run into gaps, and the hob can be wiped clean in seconds.
To use the hob, place a pan on one of the two marked zones. Turn the IPX5-rated water-resistant knob to select one of seven power levels; the setting determines how quickly the element heats the ceramic. A residual heat indicator remains lit after the zone is switched off, warning that the surface is still hot enough to burn. The temperature limiter cuts power if the zone overheats, protecting both the hob and the pan. Adjustable feet underneath allow the unit to be levelled on uneven worktops, while the locking system secures the hob in place during service.
The hob is built from 18/10 CrNi stainless steel (AISI 304) with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. The 1 mm thick worktop has rounded edges and a splash guard at the rear. Chrome-plated components include the control knobs and tray runners; the runners have locking stops to hold pans steady. Each cooking zone is a round cast-iron hotplate sealed with a steel ring to prevent liquid seeping underneath.
A power rating of 3 kW indicates the load the hob draws from the electrical supply; it can be connected to either a single-phase 230 V circuit or a three-phase 400 V-3N installation running at 50 or 60 Hz. The 300 × 600 mm footprint shows the space the hob occupies on the worktop, while the 19 kg weight affects how it is moved and positioned during installation.
Cleaning follows from the materials used: the glass ceramic surface can be wiped with a damp cloth once it has cooled, and the stainless steel body is resistant to most kitchen cleaners. The IPX5-rated knobs can be rinsed under a tap without damage. No additional maintenance is required beyond checking that the adjustable feet remain tight and the splash guard is secure.
