Professional electric range with 2 cast iron hotplates and a neutral cabinet, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures long service life, even heat distribution and easy daily cleaning.
An electric range built for continuous service in professional kitchens, combining four cast-iron hobs with an open neutral cabinet for immediate access to utensils and small equipment. The unit stands on a stainless-steel frame that carries the heating elements, control panel and storage space in a single footprint, keeping the worktop clear while keeping essentials within reach.
Each hob is a cast-iron plate heated by an embedded electric element. The iron holds heat and distributes it evenly across the cooking surface, smoothing out temperature fluctuations when pans are moved or ingredients added. A steel rim around each plate prevents spills from running onto the worktop and helps guide heat towards the base of the pan. The operator sets power in seven discrete steps, allowing fine control from a gentle simmer to a rolling boil without cycling the element on and off.
To use the range, the operator first ensures the circuit is live at 400 V three-phase. The unit is positioned on a level floor and the adjustable legs are locked to prevent movement. Pans are placed on the hobs and the power regulators are turned to the desired setting. A temperature limiter on each hob prevents overheating if the control is left at maximum. When cooking is complete, the controls are returned to zero and the hobs are allowed to cool before cleaning. The open neutral cabinet below holds trays, lids, trivets and other small items, keeping them off the worktop and within easy reach during service.
The body is fabricated from 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, finished in a Scotch-Brite satin that resists fingerprints and scratches. The 2 mm worktop has rounded edges for safety and a rear splash guard to protect the wall. Chrome-plated trim and control knobs add contrast and durability. Water-resistant control knobs rated IPX5 allow safe wipe-down without risk of electrical fault. A single end panel (TPA-9) completes the installation, covering the side and providing a clean finish.
The controls consist of four seven-position rotary switches, one for each hob, and an integrated temperature limiter that cuts power if the hob exceeds a safe threshold. The switches give direct control over the heating element, eliminating the need for a separate thermostat and allowing rapid response to changes in demand.
A power rating of 16 kW indicates the load the range places on the electrical supply; it requires a dedicated 400 V three-phase circuit capable of delivering the full current without voltage drop. The 800 mm width fits standard kitchen modules and leaves room for additional equipment on either side. The 94 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people, and the adjustable legs allow final levelling on uneven floors. The neutral cabinet provides 900 mm of open storage space without adding to the footprint.
Cleaning is straightforward: the front control panel is removable for access to internal wiring and components. The cast-iron hobs are lifted off for thorough scrubbing, and the stainless-steel surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The open cabinet is swept or vacuumed to remove debris, and the adjustable legs are checked periodically for tightness.
An optional 440 V three-phase version is available for sites with higher-voltage supplies. The range is classified as a built-in appliance for commercial kitchens and is listed under cooking equipment in the LOTUS professional catalogue.
