Ceramic glass boiling unit on open cabinet

Flanged feet
An electric stove built for the demands of a professional galley or commercial kitchen, the LOTUS PCC-98ETX combines cast-iron and ceramic-glass hobs on a single 90 cm frame. Electric elements beneath each hob convert current into radiant heat; the cast-iron plates store and distribute that heat evenly across their surface, while the ceramic glass transmits it directly upward with minimal lag. A seven-position switch on each hob lets the chef step from simmer to rolling boil without moving the pan, and a temperature limiter prevents accidental overheating of the element itself.
To start service, the operator positions the stove against the bulkhead or wall, levels it with the adjustable flanged feet, and connects the 400 V three-phase supply. Each hob is switched on individually; the ceramic-glass plates show a warning light until they cool below a safe touch temperature. Pots and pans sit directly on the sealed steel borders of the cast-iron hobs or on the smooth ceramic surface, and the rolling racks supplied with the unit can be locked in place to steady larger vessels. When the cooking cycle is complete, the hob is switched off and the residual-heat indicator extinguishes once the surface is cool enough to clean.
The chassis is fabricated from 18/10 CrNi AISI 304 stainless steel, satin-polished to a Scotch-Brite finish that resists fingerprints and corrosion. A 2 mm thick worktop with rounded edges and a rear splash-back protects the surrounding area, while chromed details add contrast and durability. All controls are rated IPX5 for water resistance, and the front panel can be removed without tools to reach every serviceable part behind it.
A 12.8 kW power rating means the stove requires a dedicated three-phase circuit capable of supplying the full load without voltage drop. The 800 × 900 × 900 mm footprint fits a standard 90 cm worktop bay, and the 74 kg weight allows two people to manoeuvre it into position on the adjustable feet. No doors are included, leaving the open cabinet free for storage or additional equipment.
Cleaning follows the materials: the stainless-steel body can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the ceramic glass and cast-iron hobs are cleaned with a non-abrasive pad once they have cooled. The front panel is removed for access to the wiring and switches, and the rolling racks can be lifted out for separate washing.
The PCC-98ETX is listed in the LOTUS Marine & Catering catalogue under Professional Electric Stoves.
