| NOTES | Grill surface: 2x 38 × 66 cm. |
The adjustable electric contact grill with an open cabinet is designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. Its durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction and rotating stainless steel heating element ensure even and efficient grilling of food.
Grill surface: 2x 38x66 cm.
A water grill uses a shallow bath of water beneath the cooking surface to catch fat and juices as they drip from food. The water evaporates, carrying smoke and odour away, while the fat floats and can be skimmed off. This keeps the kitchen air cleaner and reduces flare-ups that char food or set off extractor alarms. The grill surface itself is heated by electric elements directly beneath it, giving even, controllable heat across the whole plate without open flames or gas jets.
The LOTUS CW-98ET is a freestanding electric water grill with a neutral cabinet beneath the cooking area. The operator loads food onto the two grill plates, each 38 cm by 66 cm, and sets the temperature for each side independently. The water tray below is filled before service and emptied afterwards; it is removable for cleaning. The cabinet below provides storage for utensils or ingredients, keeping them within reach during service.
The grill is built from 2 mm thick 18/10 stainless steel, grade AISI 304, with a Scotch-Brite satin polish finish. The top edges are rounded, and the control knobs are chromed. The handles are rated IPX5 for water resistance. The front control panel lifts off to give access to all cleaning points. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors. The neutral cabinet has no door supplied.
The 15.6 kW power rating requires a 400 V three-phase supply with neutral and earth, running at 50 or 60 Hz. This is the standard supply for professional catering equipment in commercial kitchens, and the grill is designed to run continuously on it. The 109 kg weight means the unit is moved on a trolley or with two people. The 800 mm width fits a standard 90 cm worktop space, leaving room for side splashbacks or adjacent equipment.
Cleaning involves removing the water tray, wiping the grill plates, and washing the tray and cabinet interior. The control panel is lifted off to reach the internal components. The stainless steel surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could damage the satin finish.
The CW-98ET is a single model with no variants listed. It is placed in the catalogue under professional electric grills and neutral cabinets.
