Professional electric griddle with a smooth cooking surface and an open neutral cabinet, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures even heating, long service life and easy daily cleaning.
A smooth electric fry-top griddle heats a solid steel plate from beneath with electric elements, spreading heat evenly across the cooking surface without hot spots. The plate's mass holds the temperature steady, letting chefs sear, grill or sauté large batches of food at once while keeping each portion consistent. The open base and storage shelf below keep utensils and ingredients within reach, cutting unnecessary movement during service.
The operator sets the double thermostat to the desired temperature between 50 and 300 °C, then preheats the plate. Once the indicator confirms the set point, food is placed directly on the smooth surface. Grease and juices run off the rounded edges into removable collection containers at the front, reducing flare-ups and keeping the workspace cleaner. After cooking, the containers are lifted out, emptied and washed separately, while the plate itself is scraped and wiped down while still warm.
The unit is built from CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a 2 mm thick worktop and a Scotch-Brite satin finish that resists scratches and fingerprints. Chrome-plated components and a rear splashback protect the controls and surrounding surfaces from splashes. IPX5-rated water-resistant knobs allow safe cleaning with a hose without risking electrical faults. The front control panel lifts away to expose all serviceable parts, simplifying maintenance and repairs.
A power rating of 5.55 kW indicates the load the griddle places on the electrical supply; it requires a dedicated circuit capable of handling the current draw during peak operation. The voltage options of 230 V single-phase or 400 V three-phase allow the unit to be installed in most commercial kitchens without additional transformers. The 400 mm depth and 705 mm width determine the counter space it occupies, while the 900 mm height fits beneath standard worktop extractor hoods. A weight of 64 kg means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people, and the adjustable feet level it on uneven floors.
Cleaning involves removing the grease containers, wiping the plate with a scraper and cloth, and rinsing the splashback and chrome parts. The control panel and knobs are wiped with a damp cloth, avoiding direct water jets to prevent moisture ingress. The open base shelf is cleared and wiped down as needed.
Two cooking plate options are available: FE430B steel or FE510C chrome-plated steel, each offering a different surface finish and heat retention characteristic. The open cabinet design does not include doors, leaving the storage shelf fully accessible.
