Professional electric griddle with a smooth cooking surface and an open neutral cabinet, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures even heating, long service life and easy daily cleaning.
A professional electric fry-top spreads heat evenly across a smooth steel plate, letting chefs sear, grill and fry without open flames. The element beneath the plate warms the metal, which holds the temperature and transfers it directly to food. This method gives precise control over cooking, with no hot spots or uneven browning, and the solid surface keeps small items from falling through. The open base and storage shelf below keep tools and ingredients within reach while the unit stays stable on adjustable feet.
The operator sets the double thermostat to the desired temperature between 50 and 300 °C, then waits for the plate to reach it. Food is placed directly on the smooth surface, cooked, and removed with a spatula. Grease and juices run off the rounded edges into removable collection containers at the front, keeping the worktop clean during service. The chrome-plated splashback at the rear protects the wall and reflects heat back onto the plate, speeding up recovery time between batches.
The unit is built from CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish, including a 2 mm thick worktop and chrome-plated components. The cooking plate is either FE430B steel or FE510C chrome-plated steel, both chosen for durability and rapid heating. IPX5-rated water-resistant knobs protect the controls from splashes and steam, while the front panel detaches for access to all serviceable parts.
A power rating of 7.4 kW means the fry-top draws a significant load, requiring a dedicated 400/440 V three-phase circuit with 50/60 Hz supply. The 600 mm width fits standard worktop layouts, while the 78 kg weight ensures stability but may need two people to move. The 900 mm height allows comfortable use without stooping, and the open cabinet design leaves space for a shelf beneath.
Cleaning involves wiping the smooth plate after each service, emptying the grease containers, and removing the front panel periodically to access internal components. The rounded edges and satin finish reduce food adhesion, and the splashback prevents wall stains. No doors are included, so the open base remains accessible for storage.
The FTL-76ETX is a standalone electric fry-top on an open cabinet, supplied with adjustable feet for levelling.
