| NOTES | Ribbed griddle, plate cm.39,5x45 |
Professional ribbed gas griddle, designed for grilling meat, fish, vegetables and other foods in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures even heating, high performance and easy daily maintenance.
A gas cooking plate that sears and grills with direct flame beneath a ribbed steel griddle, concentrating heat into the grooves while the raised ridges keep food clear of rendered fat. The flame is lit by a pilot and a piezoelectric spark, then modulated by a thermocouple-equipped valve that shuts off gas if the flame fails. A safety valve prevents accidental release, and the entire burner assembly is housed under a thick stainless-steel worktop that spreads heat evenly across the cooking surface.
The operator sets the desired temperature between 50 and 300 °C using water-resistant control knobs on the front panel. Once lit, the flame heats the griddle from below; the ribbed pattern channels juices and fat into the grooves, where they drain into a large removable tray beneath the unit. Adjustable feet level the plate on uneven floors, and a rear flue outlet directs combustion gases away from the workspace.
The worktop is 2.5 mm 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish, rounded edges and a rear splashback to contain spills. Chrome-plated components resist corrosion, and the front control panel lifts off to expose all internal parts for inspection and maintenance. A grease collection tray slides out for emptying and cleaning, and the unit is supplied with nozzles for both natural gas and LPG.
The 6 kW power rating indicates the maximum gas load the appliance draws, which determines the size of the supply line and regulator needed in a professional kitchen. The 400 × 600 × 280 mm footprint fits standard worktop cut-outs, while the 47 kg weight requires two people to move and position the unit safely. Temperature control from 50 to 300 °C allows low-temperature holding as well as high-heat searing.
Cleaning involves removing the grease tray, wiping the ribbed griddle with a scraper or cloth, and washing the splashback and control panel with mild detergent. The stainless-steel worktop can be polished to restore its satin finish, and the internal burner assembly is accessed by lifting the front panel.
The FTRT-64G is available with either a ribbed or smooth cooking plate in mild steel or chrome-plated steel, depending on the chosen model variant.
