Professional gas hob with 1 burner, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures high durability, safe operation and easy daily maintenance.
A gas cooking top that delivers instant, adjustable heat across two high-efficiency burners. The unit draws natural gas or propane through modular cast-iron heads, where the flame is lit by a piezoelectric spark. This method removes the need for a standing pilot, cutting gas use when the hob is idle while keeping ignition ready at the turn of a knob. The burners sit beneath heavy-duty pan supports that hold pots steady and distribute heat evenly across the base, reducing hot spots and speeding up cooking times.
To start, the operator places a pan on the chosen support, turns the water-resistant control knob to the ignition position and presses. A spark jumps to the burner head, lighting the gas. The knob is then rotated to the desired flame size, from a gentle simmer to full output. The safety valve and thermocouple monitor the flame; if it extinguishes, the valve shuts off the gas automatically. A rear splashback catches spills and reflects heat back towards the pan, while a removable drip tray beneath collects grease and liquids for quick cleaning.
The cooking surface is a single sheet of 1 mm 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. Rounded edges and chrome-plated components resist corrosion and make the worktop easier to wipe down. The front control panel lifts away to reveal all internal parts, simplifying maintenance. Nozzles for converting between gas types are included, and adjustable feet allow the unit to sit level on uneven floors.
A 10 kW total output means the hob can handle high-demand tasks such as searing, boiling and stir-frying simultaneously. The 400 mm depth and 600 mm width fit standard worktop cut-outs, while the 23 kg weight allows two people to move it without specialist equipment. The IPX5-rated knobs withstand low-pressure hose-downs, and the sealed construction prevents water ingress behind the panel.
Cleaning involves removing the pan supports and drip tray, wiping the stainless steel surface with a damp cloth, and rinsing the tray under a tap. The control panel and internal components are accessed by lifting the front fascia, where gas valves and ignition wiring can be inspected or replaced without dismantling the entire unit.
The PC1T-64G is part of the LOTUS PC1 series, which also includes models with pilot-flame ignition. It is listed under professional gas cooking equipment in the catalogue.
