The professional gas lava rock grill is designed for grilling meat, fish, vegetables, and other foods in restaurants, hotels, catering establishments, and other professional HoReCa kitchens. The lava rocks absorb and evenly radiate heat, giving food an authentic grilled flavour and delivering results similar to charcoal grilling.
Grill surface: 38 × 66 cm.
A smooth gas fry top transfers heat directly from the burner flames to the flat chromium-nickel surface, creating an even cooking plane without hot spots. The heat spreads across the entire area, allowing chefs to sear, sauté or hold multiple items at once without moving them around the plate. Lava stones sit above the burners, absorbing and radiating heat to soften temperature fluctuations and add a subtle smoky note to grilled foods.
The operator lights the pilot with the piezo ignition, then opens the gas valve to bring the main burners to full flame. Once the fry top reaches working temperature, food is placed directly on the surface or on the adjustable stainless steel grill rack above the lava stones. A raised rear lip contains spills, while a removable drip tray beneath the burners collects fat and juices for easy disposal. When service is finished, the gas valve is closed and the unit is left to cool before cleaning.
The entire structure is built from 2 mm thick AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. Rounded corners and chrome-plated trim reduce dirt traps and speed daily wipe-downs. The front control panel lifts off for access to internal components, and the gas jets can be swapped for alternative fuel types with the supplied conversion kit. Adjustable legs level the unit on uneven floors, and a rear closure panel completes the installation.
A 12 kW gas load draws a steady supply from a commercial kitchen circuit and delivers enough heat to keep the 38 × 66 cm surface at full temperature during peak service. The 400 × 900 × 900 mm footprint fits a standard 90 cm worktop slot, while the 77 kg weight requires two people or a trolley to move the unit into position.
Daily cleaning involves scraping the fry top, removing and emptying the drip tray, and wiping down the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth. The grill rack and lava stone tray lift out for thorough washing, and the control panel can be detached to reach the burners and safety valve. No doors are supplied, leaving the neutral cabinet open for storage of plates or utensils.
The CW-94G is catalogued as a 90 cm gas grill with smooth fry top and neutral cabinet, designed for professional kitchens requiring direct heat and even temperature control.
