A gas pasta cooker with two adjacent 40 L vats heats water rapidly by direct flame beneath each vat. The flame transfers energy through the stainless-steel base, raising the water to a rolling boil that keeps pasta strands separate and evenly cooked. A small electric circuit at 230 V ignites the gas and powers the safety interlocks, while the main 27.9 kW gas burners supply the continuous heat needed for high-volume service.

The operator fills each vat manually through an integrated water tap, then lights the burners with the push-button ignition. Once the water reaches the working temperature, perforated pasta baskets are lowered into the vats. The burners maintain a steady boil, and the built-in overflow protection prevents spills. After cooking, the baskets are lifted out and the waste water is drained through the floor outlet connection.

The unit is built from 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish; the vats themselves use AISI 316 for extra corrosion resistance. A 2 mm thick rounded worktop runs across the top, and chrome-plated details and a rear splash guard protect the surrounding area. IPX5-rated waterproof control knobs sit on the front panel, which can be removed for easy access to the gas valves and ignition system. Each burner is fitted with a thermocouple and a safety valve that cuts the gas if the flame fails.

A 27.9 kW gas input draws a substantial load from the supply, so the cooker must be connected to a commercial gas line capable of delivering the required flow. The 230 V electrical circuit is used only for ignition and safety devices, so a standard single-phase outlet is sufficient. The 800×900×900 mm footprint occupies a fixed space on the worktop, and the 116 kg weight requires a solid floor or reinforced plinth. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven surfaces.

Cleaning is straightforward: the front control panel lifts off to expose the gas components, and the vats can be emptied and wiped down after each service. The rounded edges and satin finish reduce the risk of food debris sticking, and the AISI 316 vats resist corrosion from salt and acidic cooking water.

The cooker is supplied with a single end panel (TPA-9) and conversion nozzles for both natural gas and LPG, allowing it to be installed on either supply without additional parts. Adjustable legs ensure stable placement on any kitchen floor.
