Professional induction WOK cooker with one cooking zone, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The high-power induction system ensures fast and precise heating, while the recessed WOK cooking zone is ideally suited for traditional WOK pans.
An induction wok heats only the pan, not the air around it. A coil beneath the ceramic surface creates a magnetic field that induces currents in the base of a steel wok. The pan itself becomes the heating element, so the heat is instant, even and controlled. Because the surface stays cool where there is no pan, the kitchen stays cooler and the risk of burns drops. Energy is not wasted heating the room or waiting for the hob to warm up; every watt goes into the food.
The operator places a steel wok with a round base on the 300 mm curved induction zone. The pan locks into the anti-tipping grills so it cannot slide. A single control, either mechanical or digital according to the model, sets the power from gentle simmer to full sear. The induction system responds within seconds, so the temperature follows the setting without overshoot. When the cooking is finished, the pan is lifted away and the surface cools almost at once, ready for the next task.
The unit is built from 2 mm 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, satin-finished with Scotch-Brite. Edges are rounded, fittings are chromed and the rear panel is a full-height splash guard. Water-resistant IPX5-rated control handles sit at the front, safe from splashes and steam. The 400 mm by 705 mm footprint fits a standard worktop, while the 900 mm height clears most overhead shelves. Four adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors.
A 4.5 kW power rating draws a heavy load from a 400 V three-phase circuit, the standard supply for commercial induction equipment. The 38 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people, not carried by hand. The 300 mm curved zone is sized for professional wok pans, not domestic saucepans, and the shape concentrates the heat at the centre where the food is stirred.
Cleaning is straightforward: the front control panel lifts off to expose the internal parts. The ceramic surface wipes clean with a damp cloth; no burnt-on oil or carbonised residue remains because the surface itself does not get hot. The stainless steel body resists corrosion and staining, and the satin finish hides fingerprints and light scratches.
The model is supplied with one end termination element (TPA-9). The same wok is available with either mechanical or digital controls, but the power, size and materials remain identical.
