Three-phase induction cooking WOK d- 30cm , digital control
An induction wok hob transfers energy directly into the base of a ferrous pan, bypassing the need to heat a traditional hotplate. A high-frequency electromagnetic field generates eddy currents within the pan itself, raising its temperature quickly and evenly. The ceramic glass surface stays cool to the touch, reducing accidental burns and making spills easier to wipe away. Because the heat is created inside the pan, response to power changes is almost instant, giving the chef precise control over stir-frying, searing or simmering at high output levels.
The operator places a compatible wok or pan on the marked induction zone, selects one of seven power settings via the rotary knob, and begins cooking. A warning light glows while the ceramic glass retains residual heat after the power is turned off, reminding staff to avoid contact. The temperature limiter prevents the unit from exceeding safe operating limits, automatically cutting power if the sensor detects overheating.
Fabricated from 18/10 CrNi AISI 304 stainless steel, the unit has a 2 mm thick worktop with rounded edges and a rear splash-back. Chromed details and a Scotch-Brite satin polish finish resist corrosion and staining. The front control panel lifts away easily, exposing all serviceable parts for maintenance. Adjustable feet allow the hob to be levelled on uneven floors, while a fixing system secures it in place. Rolling racks beneath the worktop block pots from sliding during transport.
A 5 kW rating indicates the load the hob will draw from a 400 V three-phase circuit, suitable for commercial kitchen distribution boards. The 400x900x280 mm footprint fits standard worktop cut-outs, leaving space for adjacent appliances. At 34 kg, the unit can be moved by two people using the integrated handles, yet remains stable during vigorous stir-frying.
Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic glass top with a damp cloth once it has cooled, removing any food debris from the rounded edges and splash-back. The stainless steel surfaces can be sanitised with standard kitchen cleaners, while the waterproof IPX5-rated knobs prevent moisture ingress during washing down. The removable control panel simplifies access for periodic inspection of internal components.
