Professional induction range with 2 cooking zones and a cabinet. The AISI 304 stainless steel construction and glass ceramic surface ensure durability, rapid heating and efficient everyday operation.
This induction hob transfers heat directly into ferromagnetic cookware using a high-frequency magnetic field beneath the glass-ceramic surface. The pan becomes the heating element, ensuring energy is used efficiently without wasted heat. The hob reacts instantly to adjustments, providing precise temperature control for chefs. The surface remains cool except where the pan sits, preventing burns from spills and keeping the kitchen environment cooler during busy service periods.
Operation is straightforward. Position a pan with a magnetic base on the marked zone. The hob detects the pan and activates the corresponding indicator. Adjust the power level using the waterproof control knobs, and the hob reaches the desired temperature within seconds. A pan-lock grid secures cookware, maintaining stability even during vigorous stirring or when using a wok. Once cooking is complete, removing the pan automatically switches the hob off. The glass surface cools quickly, allowing immediate cleaning for the next use.
Designed for demanding environments such as marine and heavy-duty catering, the hob features a 2 mm thick 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel worktop with a Scotch-Brite satin finish. Rounded edges and chrome-plated trim enhance durability, while the rear protective panel and control knobs are IPX5-rated for water resistance, permitting safe hosing down. Adjustable feet with locking brakes ensure a stable, level installation on uneven surfaces. A single end-stop trim piece (TPA-9) is included for finishing the edge when installed between other units.
The controls consist of rotary knobs that adjust the power output for each zone. These knobs are sealed against water and positioned for easy access without leaning over hot pans. Indicator lights show active zones and system status, including standby or fault modes.
With a 10 kW power rating, the hob requires a 400 V three-phase supply, standard in professional kitchens and marine settings. The unit measures 400 × 900 × 900 mm, fitting a standard worktop cut-out while allowing space for adjacent appliances. Weighing 57 kg, it should be moved with a trolley or by two people, then secured using the locking feet. The glass-ceramic surface provides ample space for large pans or a wok with a curved base.
Cleaning is simple. The glass surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The stainless steel frame and rear panel are suitable for hosing down, and the control knobs are designed to withstand water jets. For internal maintenance, the front control panel can be removed without tools, providing access to the electronics.
The PCI-94ETX is a single-zone induction hob designed for built-in installation, compatible with standard marine and commercial catering worktops.
