Professional electric range with square cast iron hotplates, designed for intensive use in professional kitchens. The durable AISI 304 stainless steel construction and 7-position power control ensure precise cooking and safe operation.
An electric hob that transfers heat through six square cast-iron plates, each acting as a separate heating zone. The plates are heated by embedded elements that convert electrical energy into radiant heat, warming the base of pots and pans directly. This method gives rapid response to power adjustments and even heat distribution across the entire surface of the plate, reducing hot spots and allowing precise control over cooking temperatures. Because the heat is generated within the plate itself, there is no open flame, which simplifies cleaning and improves safety in a busy kitchen environment.
The operator places a pot or pan on one of the square plates, selects the desired power level using the seven-position regulator, and starts cooking. Each plate operates independently, so multiple dishes can be prepared simultaneously at different temperatures. The hob's front-mounted controls are water-resistant to IPX5 standard, allowing them to be wiped down without risk of damage. Adjustable legs ensure the unit can be levelled on uneven floors, while rear and side protective panels prevent accidental contact with hot surfaces or electrical components.
The hob is constructed from 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, a grade chosen for its resistance to corrosion and staining in a professional kitchen. The worktop is 2 mm thick with rounded edges, finished in a Scotch-Brite satin polish that reduces visible scratches. Chrome-plated details and a rear protective panel add to the durability and ease of cleaning. Each cast-iron plate is surrounded by a steel rim to contain spills and protect the edges from impact.
The power rating of 24 kW indicates a substantial electrical load, requiring a three-phase 400/440 V supply commonly found in commercial kitchens. The voltage and frequency tolerance of 50/60 Hz allows the hob to be used in different countries without modification. The weight of 112 kg means the unit is designed to be moved with a trolley or two people, and the footprint of 1200 by 900 mm determines the space it occupies on the worktop or counter.
Cleaning involves removing the front control panel to access internal components, allowing thorough maintenance without dismantling the entire unit. The cast-iron plates can be wiped down after use, and the stainless steel surfaces are resistant to most cleaning agents. The hob is supplied with pot fixators—anti-slip grids that secure cookware on the plates and prevent accidental tipping.
