LOTUS PL-72X Stainless Steel Worktop on Cabinet

A stainless steel worktop mounted on an open cabinet provides a sturdy, hygienic surface for food preparation, plating and assembly in professional kitchens. The worktop itself is a flat sheet of corrosion-resistant metal that resists scratches, stains and heat from hot pans. Beneath it, the cabinet offers accessible storage for utensils, small appliances or ingredients, keeping them within arm's reach while freeing the worktop for active tasks.

The worktop is fixed to the cabinet with a dedicated mounting system that ensures stability and level alignment. Adjustable feet at each corner allow the unit to sit flat on uneven floors, preventing wobble and spills. The open cabinet design means the interior is visible and reachable from the front, so items can be retrieved without opening doors.

To use the unit, the operator loads the cabinet with the necessary tools or supplies, then works directly on the worktop. The rounded edges reduce the risk of injury and make cleaning easier. The satin finish diffuses light, reducing glare under bright kitchen lighting.

Construction is 18/10 AISI 304 chromium-nickel stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of sanitisation. The worktop is 2 mm thick, providing rigidity without excessive weight. Chrome-plated components add durability to moving parts and a contrast to the satin steel.

The unit measures 200 mm front to back, 705 mm side to side and 900 mm high, fitting into standard kitchen layouts. At 30 kg, it is light enough to be moved by two people but heavy enough to remain stable during use. The footprint of 200 by 705 mm determines the floor space it occupies, while the 900 mm height places the worktop at a comfortable working level for most operators.

Cleaning involves wiping the worktop and cabinet with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service. The satin finish hides minor scratches and fingerprints, reducing the need for frequent polishing. Adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure the unit remains level.

The PL-72X is available with or without a drawer, allowing the configuration to match the kitchen's storage needs. Doors are not included, so the cabinet remains open unless separately fitted.
