A stainless steel worktop mounted on an open cabinet provides a sturdy, hygienic surface for food preparation, plating and holding equipment within easy reach. The worktop itself is a flat, rigid sheet that resists heat, stains and impact, while the open cabinet beneath creates accessible storage for pans, utensils or ingredients without the need for doors. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors and raise it clear of spills, protecting both the floor and the stainless steel base from corrosion.

The worktop is loaded with ingredients, tools or plated dishes; the open cabinet holds larger items that are used frequently but do not need to be concealed. A single GN 1/1 container fits into the supplied cut-out, keeping a standard gastronorm pan at counter height for quick access. The operator sets the feet to the correct height, locks them in place, and secures the unit to the wall or adjacent equipment with the integrated fixing system.

Construction is 18/10 AISI 304 CrNi stainless steel throughout, chosen for its corrosion resistance and durability in wet, acidic or salty environments. The worktop is 2 mm thick with rounded edges to prevent cuts and a Scotch-Brite satin finish that hides scratches and reduces glare. Chrome-plated components add contrast and protect high-contact areas from wear.

Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on any floor surface, while the fixing system prevents movement during use. The open cabinet has no doors, so contents are visible and accessible without opening.

The 400 mm depth provides ample workspace without overhanging deeper equipment, while the 705 mm width fits standard kitchen runs. The 900 mm height matches most professional work surfaces, allowing seamless integration with hobs, sinks and other worktops. The 45 kg weight ensures stability without making the unit difficult to move when empty.

Cleaning is straightforward: the satin finish wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the open cabinet allows easy access to the interior for sweeping or mopping. Chrome-plated parts are polished with a soft cloth to maintain their appearance.

The PL-74 is available with or without a drawer, offering flexibility for different kitchen layouts.
