LOTUS PLS-73 Stainless Steel Worktop on Cabinet

A stainless steel worktop mounted on an open cabinet provides a hygienic, hard-wearing surface for food preparation, plating and assembly directly above storage space. The open cabinet beneath the worktop creates accessible storage for utensils, small appliances or ingredients kept close to the work area. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, ensuring the worktop remains stable and liquids do not pool. A fixing system secures the unit to adjacent counters or walls, preventing movement during use.

To install, position the unit where required, adjust the feet until the worktop is level, then secure it using the fixing system. Load the open cabinet with items needed for the current service, keeping heavier items on lower shelves to maintain stability. The worktop is ready for immediate use once the unit is level and fixed in place.

The construction uses 18/10 AISI 304 chromium-nickel stainless steel throughout, including the 2 mm thick worktop and chrome-plated components. This grade of stainless steel resists rust and staining, even with frequent exposure to water, acids and cleaning chemicals. The Scotch-Brite satin finish reduces visible scratches and fingerprints, maintaining a professional appearance.

The unit measures 300 mm deep, 705 mm wide and 900 mm high, providing a compact footprint suitable for tight kitchen layouts. At 35 kg, it can be moved by two people without specialised equipment, though its fixing system is designed to keep it stationary during daily use. The open cabinet configuration allows for quick visual checks of stored items, reducing time spent searching for tools or ingredients.

Cleaning involves wiping the worktop with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service, followed by a sanitising wipe. The satin finish and rounded edges simplify cleaning by eliminating crevices where debris could accumulate. The open cabinet can be emptied and wiped down weekly, with chrome-plated components polished to maintain their appearance.

The PLS-73 is available with or without a drawer, allowing customisation based on storage needs. Doors are not included, ensuring the open cabinet remains accessible for frequent use.
