LOTUS PLS-73X Stainless Steel Worktop on Cabinet

A stainless steel worktop mounted on an open cabinet provides a sturdy, hygienic surface for food preparation, plating and assembly directly above organised storage space. The worktop itself is a flat, rigid sheet that resists cuts, stains and heat, while the cabinet below keeps utensils, containers and ingredients within arm's reach without cluttering the worktop. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, ensuring the work surface stays flat and liquids do not pool at one edge.

The worktop is fixed to the cabinet with a dedicated system that locks the two components together, creating a single unit that does not shift during use. Operators load the worktop with ingredients, tools or plated dishes, then slide items into the open cabinet below as needed. The rounded edges of the worktop prevent sharp corners that could snag clothing or damage packaging, while the satin finish reduces glare under bright kitchen lighting and masks minor scratches.

Construction is 18/10 AISI 304 chromium-nickel stainless steel throughout, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of sanitising. The worktop is 2 mm thick, giving it enough rigidity to support heavy pots and trays without flexing. Chrome-plated components add contrast and protect high-contact areas from wear. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on any floor surface, compensating for slopes or irregularities that could otherwise tilt the worktop.

The open cabinet provides storage without doors, allowing quick access to items stored inside. An optional drawer can be fitted for smaller tools or ingredients that need to be kept separate. The fixing system ensures the worktop remains securely attached to the cabinet during movement or heavy use, preventing separation that could disrupt workflow.

The overall dimensions of 300 mm depth, 705 mm width and 900 mm height create a compact footprint that fits against walls or between other kitchen units. The 35 kg weight allows the unit to be moved by two people when necessary, while still providing enough stability to remain in place during daily use.
