LOTUS PLS-74X Stainless Steel Worktop on Cabinet

A stainless steel worktop mounted on an open cabinet provides a hygienic, durable surface for food preparation and storage in professional kitchens. The worktop itself is a flat, rigid sheet that resists corrosion, heat and impact, while the cabinet beneath offers accessible space for utensils, small equipment or ingredients without occupying additional floor area.

The worktop is fixed to the cabinet with a dedicated system that ensures stability and alignment. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, preventing wobble and ensuring safe operation. The open cabinet design means the interior is easily reached from the front, with no doors to obstruct access.

To use the unit, the operator loads the worktop with ingredients, tools or small appliances, and stores items inside the cabinet. The rounded edges of the worktop reduce the risk of injury and make cleaning easier. The Scotch-Brite satin finish diffuses light, reducing glare and masking minor scratches that occur during daily use.

Construction is entirely in 18/10 AISI 304 CrNi stainless steel, a grade chosen for its resistance to corrosion and staining in wet or acidic environments. The worktop is 2 mm thick, providing sufficient rigidity for chopping and other tasks without excessive weight. Chrome-plated components add contrast and protect high-contact areas from wear.

The unit measures 400 mm deep, 705 mm wide and 900 mm high, a footprint that fits standard kitchen layouts while allowing comfortable reach across the worktop. The 40 kg weight ensures stability during use but remains manageable for repositioning when necessary.

Cleaning involves wiping the worktop and cabinet with a damp cloth and mild detergent, followed by drying to prevent water spots. The satin finish does not require polishing, and the rounded edges allow thorough cleaning without trapped debris.

The PLS-74X is available with or without a drawer, allowing the configuration to be matched to kitchen workflow.
