LOTUS PLT-66 stainless steel worktop with drawer

A stainless steel worktop creates a hygienic, durable surface that withstands the heat, moisture and cleaning cycles of a professional kitchen. The metal conducts heat away from hot pans, resists staining and can be sanitised quickly between tasks. On the PLT-66, the worktop is a single sheet of 1 mm CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded edges, so there are no seams or sharp corners where debris can collect.

The unit stands on four adjustable feet, allowing the operator to level the surface even on uneven floors. Once positioned, the locking system secures the feet in place, preventing accidental movement during use. Beneath the worktop, a single drawer slides out on runners; its interior is the same stainless steel, giving the same resistance to spills and easy cleaning. The drawer is sized to hold standard gastronorm containers or smaller utensils without occupying the entire under-counter space.

To use the worktop, the operator loads ingredients, tools or prepared dishes directly onto the satin-finish surface. The drawer is pulled open to store or retrieve items, then closed to keep them out of the way. When the task is complete, the surface and drawer are wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser, leaving the unit ready for the next service.

Construction is entirely in CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, with chrome-plated components on the drawer runners and locking mechanism. The worktop thickness of 1 mm balances strength and weight, while the Scotch-Brite satin finish reduces glare and hides minor scratches that occur in daily use.

The overall dimensions of 600 mm wide, 600 mm deep and 280 mm high allow the unit to fit beneath standard wall cupboards or alongside other modular equipment. The 25 kg weight means it can be moved by two people or on a sack trolley without risk of damage.
