Worktop with a stainless steel drawer 49x50x15h cm with magnetic closure
A stainless steel worktop provides a hygienic, durable surface for food preparation, plating and assembly in professional kitchens. The metal resists corrosion, cleans quickly and withstands daily impact without chipping or staining. On the PLT-76X, the work surface is finished with a Scotch-Brite texture that reduces glare and gives a secure grip for utensils and containers.
An integrated drawer slides beneath the worktop, keeping small tools, cutlery or ingredients within reach without cluttering the surface. The drawer is sized to hold standard gastronorm trays or organisers, allowing chefs to stage mise en place directly at the station. Adjustable legs let the unit sit level on uneven floors, and a locking mechanism secures the legs once the height is set.
The worktop measures 600 mm front to back, 705 mm side to side and stands 280 mm high, giving a compact footprint that fits between existing equipment or against a wall. At 36 kg, the unit can be moved by two staff without lifting equipment, yet remains stable once positioned. The 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel construction ensures the surface does not react with acidic or alkaline foods and will not rust under normal kitchen conditions.
Rounded edges and chrome-plated details reduce sharp corners and improve the flow of cleaning water, while the 1 mm thick work surface resists dents from dropped pans or heavy containers. The drawer slides on concealed runners, preventing food debris from jamming the mechanism.
Cleaning involves wiping the worktop and drawer with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service, followed by a sanitising rinse. The Scotch-Brite finish does not trap soil, so no scrubbing is required. Chrome details are polished with a dry microfibre cloth to maintain their appearance. Adjustable legs should be checked periodically to ensure the worktop remains level and stable.
