LOTUS Rolling Rack PCIT-64 for Professional Kitchens

A rolling rack keeps ingredients, utensils or plated dishes off the worktop while staying within arm's reach. The PCIT-64 from LOTUS is a lightweight mobile shelf that rolls on castors, letting kitchen staff move supplies between prep stations, ovens and plating areas without lifting. The open frame allows air to circulate, preventing condensation on trays or containers that might otherwise sit directly on a solid surface. The rack stands on four swivel castors, two of which lock to hold the unit in place during use. A single shelf provides a flat, stable platform for trays, bins or loose items. Because the shelf is open underneath, the operator can wheel the rack close to a worktop or appliance without the base interfering with their feet or the unit's own legs. To use the PCIT-64, the operator unlocks the castors, rolls the rack to the desired location, locks the castors again, and loads the shelf. Once loaded, the rack can be moved as a single unit, reducing the number of trips between stations. After service, the rack is emptied and returned to storage or left in place for the next shift. The frame is constructed from tubular steel, giving a rigid structure at a low weight. The shelf surface is a wire grid, which supports containers while allowing spills to drain through rather than pooling on the shelf. The 2.5 kg weight makes the rack easy to manoeuvre by hand, even when fully loaded. The 400 mm width fits between standard worktop depths, while the 600 mm length provides enough space for two gastronorm trays side by side or a single larger container. The compact footprint allows the rack to be stored in a cupboard or against a wall when not in use. Cleaning is straightforward: the wire shelf lifts off the frame for separate washing, and the tubular steel can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The welded aluminium frame glides silently on sealed ball-bearing castors without ever needing grease or tensioning.
