LOTUS RSFT-63EM Sandwiches Plate for Electric Griddle Mounting

A sandwich plate provides a smooth, flat surface to press and seal filled bread or buns evenly. The electric element beneath the plate raises its temperature, while the weight of the top plate and adjustable springs apply consistent pressure. This method melts cheese, warms fillings, and creates a crisp outer crust without burning, ensuring a uniform finish across every portion.

The LOTUS RSFT-63EM is designed to mount directly above an electric griddle, sharing the same worktop space. The operator lowers the top plate onto the prepared sandwich using the heat-insulated handle. Two adjustable springs ensure smooth descent and even balance, preventing uneven pressure or slippage. A control thermostat allows surface temperature adjustment between 50 °C and 230 °C, making it suitable for delicate paninis or quick-seal toasties.

The plate is made from 18/10 CrNi stainless steel with a Scotch-Brite satin finish and chromed details. A removable non-stick Teflon sheet covers the cooking surface, resisting high temperatures and simplifying release and cleaning. The ergonomic handle stays cool to the touch, and the entire top panel lifts away for access to serviceable parts.

With a 2.9 kW power rating, the unit is built for professional kitchen use. Its dimensions—320 mm deep, 610 mm wide, and 410 mm high—match the footprint of the Magiclotus 60 griddle, creating an integrated station. Weighing 20 kg, the plate can be lifted by two people and secured with the supplied mounting bracket.

Cleaning involves removing the Teflon sheet for separate washing, wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth, and brushing away crumbs from the spring mechanism. The thermostat and electrical components remain dry and are accessed only when the top panel is removed.
