LOTUS RSFT-73EM Electric Sandwich Plate for Griddle Mounting

A professional electric sandwich plate designed to sit above an electric griddle, turning the griddle's worktop into a dedicated sandwich station without extra footprint. The plate heats evenly across its non-stick surface, pressing and sealing sandwiches while the griddle beneath cooks fillings or sides. Heat is controlled by a built-in thermostat, allowing the operator to match the temperature to the bread type and filling thickness. Two adjustable springs balance the plate in any position, so the operator can lift it with one hand and check the sandwich without risk of tilting or dropping it.

The plate is fabricated from 18/10 CrNi stainless steel, satin-polished for durability and easy cleaning. A removable Teflon sheet covers the cooking surface, preventing sticking and allowing quick release of finished sandwiches. The sheet is rated for high temperatures and can be replaced without tools. An insulated handle stays cool during use, and the entire top panel lifts away for access to internal parts, making maintenance straightforward.

The unit is supplied with a mounting bracket sized for the Magiclotus 60 griddle. Once fitted, the plate occupies 320 mm depth, 620 mm width and 410 mm height, weighing 20 kg. It draws 2.9 kW from a 230 V single-phase circuit, so it can be connected to a standard UK commercial kitchen supply. The 29 × 40 cm cooking area gives enough space for two large sandwiches at once, or one oversized panini.

Operation is simple: the operator lowers the plate onto the sandwich, the springs take the weight, and the thermostat holds the set temperature. When the sandwich is sealed, the plate is lifted, the sandwich removed, and the next one loaded. The non-stick surface needs only a wipe between batches, and the Teflon sheet can be washed separately or replaced when worn.
