A gas-powered smooth griddle delivers even heat across a flat stainless steel cooking surface, transferring energy directly to the food without hot spots. The burner system beneath the plate heats the metal, which then radiates consistent warmth, allowing chefs to sear, grill or fry items simultaneously across the entire area.

The operator ignites the pilot flame using the piezoelectric starter, then adjusts the gas flow with the control knobs to set the desired temperature between 50 and 300 °C. Once the plate reaches the selected heat, food is placed directly onto the surface, where it cooks through direct conduction. The built-in drip tray beneath the front edge collects excess fat and liquids, preventing flare-ups and simplifying cleanup. Adjustable legs allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, ensuring stability during use.

Constructed from 2 mm thick 18/10 AISI 304 stainless steel, the griddle plate resists corrosion and withstands heavy daily use. The surface has a Scotch-Brite satin finish, reducing sticking while maintaining durability, and rounded edges prevent sharp corners in a busy kitchen. Chromed details and a rear protective panel protect against wear, while IPX5-rated water-resistant control handles allow safe cleaning with a hose. The gas burners include a thermocouple and safety valve, shutting off the supply if the flame extinguishes accidentally. A rear flue ensures safe exhaust of combustion gases.

Controls consist of gas knobs with integrated piezoelectric ignition, allowing quick lighting without external tools. Each knob regulates the temperature of a section of the plate, enabling different heat zones for varied cooking tasks. The 10.5 kW power rating indicates the load on the gas supply, requiring a dedicated line in a commercial kitchen. The 68 kg weight means the unit is moved with a trolley or two people, while the 600x705 mm footprint fits standard worktop depths but requires clearance for rear ventilation.

Cleaning involves removing the front control panel to access internal components, while the detachable drip tray and grease collection pan simplify daily maintenance. The griddle is supplied with nozzles for both natural gas and LPG, allowing installation in kitchens with either supply. Adjustable legs ensure the unit remains stable on uneven surfaces, preventing movement during operation.

The FTLT-76G is a standalone smooth griddle, positioned in the catalogue under professional gas cooking equipment for restaurants, hotels and catering kitchens.
