Mod. MFM-610EMX;
Support-flanged feet raise and level heavy catering appliances above the floor. Each foot has a threaded rod that screws into a flange welded to the base of the equipment. Turning the foot clockwise lowers it, raising the unit; anticlockwise lifts the foot, lowering the unit. This adjustment compensates for uneven floors and ensures the appliance sits level, preventing spills, vibration and premature wear on moving parts.
To install the LOTUS S-610X feet, position the equipment where it will stand. Slide each foot under the corresponding flange and thread the rod upwards until it engages. Turn the foot by hand until it bears the weight, then use a spanner to tighten it firmly. Check with a spirit level across the worktop or hob; adjust each foot in turn until the appliance is perfectly horizontal. Once level, lock the feet with the locking nut provided to prevent loosening from vibration.
The S-610X feet are constructed from plated steel for corrosion resistance in humid kitchen environments. The flange is welded to the rod, eliminating weak points that could shear under load. A non-slip pad on the base grips the floor, reducing movement when the appliance is nudged or when doors are opened and closed.
Each foot is 1000 mm long, 485 mm wide and 570 mm high when fully extended. The length allows the feet to span the full width of large units such as combi ovens, refrigerated counters and bain-maries, distributing weight evenly across the floor. The height range accommodates most kitchen plinths and allows clearance for cleaning underneath.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the feet with a damp cloth to remove grease and debris. Inspect the locking nuts periodically and retighten if they have worked loose. If the non-slip pad wears, replace it to maintain grip on the floor.
