100% Arabica 500 gr, Coffee Lucaffe Colombia Sacchetto grani beans 500 gr
Coffee beans of the Arabica species develop their full flavour when roasted and ground just before brewing. The beans absorb heat evenly, releasing aromatic oils that give espresso its crema and body. A fine grind exposes more surface to the hot water, extracting the sugars and acids that create the drink's characteristic balance of sweetness and brightness. The process relies on precise temperature control and pressure to avoid over- or under-extraction, which would dull the flavour or introduce bitterness.
To prepare espresso from these beans, the operator measures the 500 g pack into the grinder's hopper. The grinder is set to a fine consistency, and the portafilter is filled with the correct dose. The portafilter locks into the espresso machine, and the extraction begins. The operator monitors the flow, adjusting the grind or dose if the shot runs too fast or too slow. The resulting espresso should display a rich crema and a full-bodied taste with the chocolate notes typical of Central American Arabica.
The beans are supplied in a 500 g pack, which allows for consistent portioning in a professional setting. The weight is chosen to balance freshness with practical use: small enough to maintain flavour, large enough to reduce frequent reordering. The pack is sealed to preserve the beans' aroma until the moment of grinding.
