Puly Caff Polvere is a professional-grade coffee machine cleaner for groupheads, discharge valves, and portafilters. Coffee beans release oils and fats during roasting, which transfer to the coffee grounds and subsequently deposit onto the internal components of coffee machines. These residues, particularly when exposed to heat, can burn and caramelise, imparting a bitter and unpleasant aftertaste to the coffee. Oxidised oils can create stale aromas within 12 to 18 hours.

Regular use of Puly Caff Plus, a professional coffee machine cleaner, effectively removes these coffee deposits. This process prevents the build-up of burnt residues on group and filter parts, thereby preserving the authentic aroma and distinct taste of espresso. The cleaner is formulated to dissolve coffee oil and fat deposits completely.

For daily grouphead cleaning, a routine involves placing 3-5 g of Puly Caff Plus into the blind filter. An extraction cycle of 10 seconds followed by a 10-second pause should be repeated five times. After this, remove the portafilter and rinse it with hot water from the group. Reinsert the rinsed portafilter and repeat the 10-second extraction/10-second pause cycle another five times.

For daily soaking of filters and portafilters, prepare a solution by adding 10 g of Puly Caff Plus to 1 litre of hot water in a washing container. Submerge the filters and portafilters in this solution for 15 minutes before rinsing them thoroughly with hot water.
