A professional washing machine engineered for high-volume textile care in commercial laundries, self-service laundrettes and on-premise laundry operations. The DANUBE WED-11 E ET2 removes soil, stains and odours from workwear, towels, bedding and delicate fabrics while conserving water, detergent and energy. Its microprocessor control and multiple water inlets organise the wash process into distinct phases that adapt to the load, the fabric and the level of soiling, delivering consistent results across every cycle.

The machine fills with water through three independent inlets, allowing separate feeds for cold water, hot water and detergent injection. An internal pump circulates the water through the stainless-steel drum, where a 6.25 kW heating element raises the temperature to the selected programme setting. The drum rotates alternately in clockwise and anticlockwise directions, lifting and dropping the textiles to ensure thorough wetting, mechanical action and rinsing. A soft-mount suspension system with a G-force rating of 500 reduces vibration and residual moisture, shortening the drying time that follows. After the final rinse, the drum spins at 1300 rpm to extract water, leaving the load ready for transfer to a dryer or finishing equipment.

Operation begins by loading the textiles through the large aluminium door, which opens to a 373 mm diameter aperture. The operator selects one of the twenty preset programmes or creates a custom cycle using the 7-inch touch screen. The EASY TOUCH 2 control panel displays video instructions in 37 languages, guiding staff through each step. Once the programme is chosen, the machine automatically adjusts water volume, detergent dosage and wash duration according to the weight of the load, measured by the Optimal Loading system. The Intelligent Consumption system further refines the process, ensuring that the standard programme uses less than 8 litres of water per kilogram of laundry. Three adjustable water-saving levels allow the operator to reduce consumption for lightly soiled loads or when water costs are high.

The drum and outer tub are fabricated from AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, chlorine and repeated thermal cycles. The front panel opens downward to provide unobstructed access for routine maintenance and inspection of the heating elements, pumps and dosing valves. Eight signal outputs are available for connecting automatic detergent dosing pumps, expandable to fourteen for larger installations. A USB port on the control panel allows programmes to be imported or exported, enabling standardised cycles across multiple machines or sites.

The WED-11 E ET2 is equipped with DANUBE Online IoT connectivity, which transmits real-time data on cycle progress, energy use, water consumption and machine status to a central dashboard. Remote monitoring enables predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis and performance benchmarking without on-site visits. The machine can be switched between 400 V three-phase and 230 V single-phase supplies, accommodating the electrical infrastructure of most commercial premises.

Cleaning is simplified by the smooth stainless-steel surfaces and the absence of internal seams where lint can accumulate. After each shift, the operator wipes the drum and door seal with a damp cloth and runs a rinse cycle to flush residual detergent from the pipes. The front panel is removed periodically to inspect the heating elements and clean the water inlet filters, ensuring consistent water flow and temperature.

This model is supplied with electric heating; versions with hot-water or steam heating are available on request. Additional accessories, such as extended detergent tanks, external water softeners and specialised programme modules, can be specified to tailor the machine to specific textile care requirements.

The WED-11 E ET2 is designed for integration into professional laundry workflows, including on-premise laundry (OPL) and self-service laundrettes with supplementary equipment. Its 692 mm width, 830 mm depth and 1185 mm height allow installation in standard laundry rooms, while the 198 kg weight requires a solid floor or reinforced base to support the dynamic loads during spin cycles.
