| NOTES | A continuous Wi-Fi connection is required. |
A wireless data gateway for the monitoring system — it collects readings from wireless sensors and sends them to the cloud platform over the local network.
Up to 250 sensors per gateway, 868 MHz communication up to 150 m, AES-128 encryption and an RJ-45 Ethernet connection. Built-in buffer memory stores data during internet outages. Repeater mode is available for extending coverage.

BHS Data Gateway BTCPLRX2
The data gateway is the central element of a remote monitoring system. It receives readings from wireless temperature, humidity and probe sensors over a radio channel and forwards them to the cloud monitoring platform through a standard RJ-45 Ethernet connection.
One gateway serves up to 250 wireless sensors, making it suitable both for small sites with a few measuring points and for large warehouses, production facilities and retail chains. Data exchange between the sensors and the gateway is encrypted with AES-128.
If the internet connection is temporarily lost, the gateway stores readings in local non-volatile buffer memory and uploads them to the server automatically once the connection is restored. This prevents gaps in the measurement history, which matters for HACCP and audit requirements.

- Warehouses and logistics centres — temperature and humidity data across the whole area
- HVAC systems and technical rooms
- Laboratories and medical facilities
- Server rooms and data centres
- Museums and archives — microclimate monitoring
- Industrial sites with centralised data collection
Installation and configuration
The gateway is connected to an active network switch or router with an RJ-45 cable and powered from a 5 V adapter or micro-USB. DHCP mode is enabled by default, so the device receives its network settings automatically. For projects requiring a static IP address or custom network settings, configuration can be performed from a PC using the USB configuration utility.
The enclosure is mounted with industrial double-sided adhesive tape on a smooth surface. Repeater mode settings are stored in non-volatile memory and remain active after power cycling.
