A heated rack keeps plated dishes at serving temperature without drying or overcooking. The KOPA OC500 uses a concealed element beneath each shelf to radiate gentle, even heat across the entire surface. This method prevents hot spots and maintains the texture and appearance of sauces, meats and vegetables until the moment they leave the kitchen.
The operator loads plates directly onto the shelves, sets the desired warmth with the front-mounted thermostat, and leaves the unit to maintain the temperature. No water bath or cling film is needed; the dry heat circulates naturally between the shelves, so dishes stay ready for service throughout a busy shift.
The OC500 is built as a freestanding worktop unit in stainless steel. Its footprint of 900 mm width fits standard kitchen runs, and the 582 mm depth allows plates to be slid on and off without reaching across hot surfaces. The 340 mm height keeps the shelves at a comfortable working level while leaving clearance for stacked plates.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the shelves and exterior with a damp cloth; the heating element is sealed and requires no maintenance. The unit is supplied as a single version without variants or accessories.
