Used to cut frozen meat and big fishes like tuna and porbeagle. The strong carrying structure is in stainless steel. Easy to clean thank to the removable flywheels (without any tools) and safe to use. With sliding work surface.
A continuous-loop bandsaw blade slices through large meat primals and frozen blocks without the kerf loss of a circular saw. The blade runs over two vertical wheels, one driven at 2800 rpm by a 2.2 kW motor; the other keeps tension and alignment. A stainless-steel guide above the work surface steers the blade and prevents lateral movement, while a transparent guard shields the operator. The meat is pushed forward by a stainless-steel portioning device and a spring-loaded pusher, ensuring even pressure and straight cuts.
The operator places the meat on the sliding table (390 × 605 mm) and advances it against the blade; the fixed table (360 × 750 mm) receives the cut portions. A magnetic sensor detects the presence of the meat and arms the brake; if the operator's hand approaches the blade, the sensor triggers a mechanical brake that stops the blade within milliseconds. A low-voltage (24 V) control panel on the side sets blade speed and monitors safety circuits. The entire unit stands 2030 mm tall on a 960 × 920 mm footprint, requiring a three-phase 400 V supply capable of handling the 2.2 kW load.
All contact surfaces—work tables, portioning device, pusher, blade guide and guard—are made of AISI 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. A removable sawdust drawer beneath the blade collects bone and meat particles, preventing cross-contamination. The 3350 mm blade length allows deep cuts through whole carcasses or large frozen blocks without repositioning. The 210 kg weight ensures stability during operation, while the four adjustable feet allow levelling on uneven floors.
Cleaning follows the stainless-steel construction: the blade guard, portioning device and pusher lift off for washing; the work surfaces and blade guide wipe down with sanitiser; the sawdust drawer empties and rinses after each shift. The low-voltage electrical panel is sealed against moisture, so the exterior can be hosed down without risk to the controls.
The Bandsaw 600ST is listed in the SAVIOLI catalogue under heavy-duty meat-processing equipment for abattoirs, central production kitchens and large-scale butchery operations.
