BHS Wireless Temperature Sensor BENS210

An ultra-compact battery-powered wireless sensor for remote ambient temperature monitoring. Designed for sites where only a temperature reading is required, without an external probe or humidity measurement: cold and freezer rooms, warehouses, sales areas, pharmacies, server rooms, museums and archives.

The sensor measures air temperature from -30 °C to +55 °C with ±0.5 °C accuracy and a 0.1 °C step. Every 5 minutes a reading is transmitted over an AES-128 encrypted 868 MHz radio channel to a gateway, which forwards the data to the cloud monitoring platform. There you can review measurement history and charts, set limit values, receive alerts and generate reports.

Installation

The sensor is mounted with high-bond industrial double-sided adhesive tape on a smooth surface — plastic, metal, glass or a painted wall. Installation is quick and requires no drilling or damage to the equipment structure. The device is shipped switched off to protect the battery in transit; operation starts by pressing the join button and registering the sensor in the cloud portal.

Do not place the sensor near direct heat sources, direct sunlight, water flow or ventilation outlets, as such conditions do not reflect the real temperature of the monitored area.

Technical details

A compatible wireless gateway is required for operation. BHS specialists carry out system installation, programming, limit and alarm configuration, and staff training.
